WebThe Health Equity track was created to address both global and local health equity issues, encompassing the idea that “Global is Local”. The purpose of the track is to empower residents with knowledge, skills, and experiences that they can use to advocate for health equity throughout their careers. WebCurrent Workforce refers to those either working or unemployed in health professions, ages 20 to 65, based on 2010-2024 American Community Survey data obtained from IPUMS USA. The Diversity Index is calculated as the percent of each profession of the selected race/ethnicity divided by the percent of the benchmark population.
