WebThis is gold! Totally fixed my problem. When I cut a hole in an object, I now extrude the ring of verts around the hole, scale that new ring in a little bit and then I extrude for depth. This gives a ring of verts around the inside ring which gets rid of pinching. Thanks so much! SS basically averages everything out, so if you have more geometry or more edges in a certain area you’re going to end up with sharper geometry.
